Firstly, thank you for stopping by—and even more so for taking a few minutes to read about this very worthwhile cause.

Those who know me will tell you I don’t jump on every fundraising bandwagon (mainly because running is usually involved 😄). But when I truly believe in something—what it stands for and what it can achieve—I’m all in. And this is one of those times.

Alive City Church is raising funds for Project 5:14, inspired by Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

The vision? To create a new home for the church and a community centre right in the heart of Croydon.

But this is about much more than bricks and mortar. It’s about building a place of hope, support, and transformation—a space that will serve the community and impact lives for generations to come. In short… this is legacy.

Now, with that in mind (and possibly a slight lapse in judgement), I’ve decided to lace up my trainers, dust off the push bike, and take on a Mini Duathlon!

Yes… running and cycling. Voluntarily.

From seasoned athletes to those of us who are… let’s say “enthusiastically returning” to fitness, we’re all doing this for the same purpose.

I won’t lie—this will be a challenge. So whether you’re supporting to encourage me… or you’re quietly curious to see how I survive it 😅… your support will be hugely appreciated.
