King's Pantry Foodbank

The King's Pantry Foodbank is run as a shared project by The Salvation Army and Bethany Community Church, from The Salvation Army Hall in Leyton Green, Harpenden.
The Foodbank helps support those in the Harpenden area who may be struggling to feed their families or themselves. Each food parcel provided consists of a range of items including tinned and dried foods and household products. King's Pantry Foodbank also partners with The Hygiene Bank, to provide toiletries and other household items.
For the most part the food that is given out is supplied by local donations from a number of local groups, schools, churches and other organisations on a regular basis. When stocks are extremely low we have an arrangement whereby we can make bulk purchases from one of the major supermarkets. Your donation will help to fund these additional supplies.
Food donations can be made at the Co-op branches in Southdown and Batford throughout the week or at The Salvation Army in Leyton Green on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays between 09:30 and 11:30am.
