Story
Having reached our target at lunchtime on 4 November, we had a glitch trying to extend the date. The funds raised of £1050 will be credited to the RBL. Until Just giving has helped us to sort out the glitch we are continuing our fundraiser with this page. Sorry for this temporary glitch from the Kingswood poppy appeal team.
Dear Kingswood Residents’ Association and friends of the Royal British Legion I congratulate you all on this wonderful achievement of reaching your £1000 goal in just a few days, ( at 4th November) it is so generous and reaches out to those that deserve it most, our veterans of yesteryear and those of tomorrow. Our story .....The Residents and Businesses of Kingswood would like to show their gratitude to the servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. To show our thanks we will be sponsoring 100 giant poppies along the A217, the Kingswood Village Parade and the centrepiece of our display will be the Village Post Box topper. Let’s join together and demonstrate the generosity of Kingswood and show how much we care.
