Yesterday, 19 February, our dear friend Elise got into difficulties in the mountains and was rescued by Kintail Mountain Rescue. Several groups on the ground together with helicopter support managed to locate her in an extremely inaccessible gully. Teams worked through the night in very difficult and worsening conditions, bringing her down safely at 0600. We are so grateful for the wonderful work of all involved.

Mountain Rescue personnel are all volunteers. Many of those on the hill and coordinating the rescue last night will have gone to work today. As a group we want to show our gratitude for such selfless service and we thought that other friends of Elise might want to join us.
