In Memory of My Nan – Supporting Les Bourgs Hospice
I’m taking part in the Guernsey Butterfield Half Marathon to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice, a truly special place that offers compassionate, professional care to those facing life-limiting illnesses here in the Bailiwick.
This cause is deeply personal to me, as I’m running in memory of my wonderful nan, Elizabeth Hollingsworth. Her strength, kindness, and love have left a lasting mark on my life, and I want to honour her by supporting a place that brings dignity and comfort to so many others and their families.
Les Bourgs Hospice provides its services completely free of charge to patients and their loved ones, offering not only in-patient care, but also respite and day care. The work they do is vital — and it’s made possible by community support and donations like yours.
Every pound raised will help ensure this incredible hospice can continue to care for those who need it most. If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be so grateful.
Thank you for your support — it truly means the world.
Let’s do this for Nan 💜
