Kira's fundraiser for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity

Kira Sehmbi is raising money for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

The Giles' Trust was set up in 2015 by England cricketer Ashley Giles and his wife, Stine, to raise money to fund vital brain tumour research at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Make a donation and help to change lives today.

Story

I am fundraising for The Giles' Trust, the Brain Tumour Research Fund.

A few years ago, I met Karen and Stine, and they inspired me in ways I didn’t expect. Karen’s dedication to raising money and awareness for a small but mighty brain tumour charity truly moved me. And then there’s Stine—someone I’ve had the privilege of getting to know personally—who is still living with brain tumours, yet continues to fight with such strength and grace.

The charity is doing incredible work - supporting patients, funding pioneering equipment, offering hope to people in their toughest moments and 'added extras' that make a patient's time in hospital easier. But there is so much more to do.

Together, we want to make a difference by funding brain tumour research.

Together, we can save more lives.
