3 years ago i had a stroke, then a year later unfortunately i had another so very reluctantly i decided to have surgery. After nearly 2 yeara of waiting i got my surgery done.

A3 was the ward i was on for the 2 weeks after my surgery, i was only in for so long as i had an infection. The staff were kind, caring and thoughtful and nothing was enough trouble. they made me feel safe in a time of uncertainty for me, my family and friends and now i would like to thank them by doing aomething for them in return.

After speaking with 2 members of the A3 team today we have come up with a list of what they would like and the cost is around £8,600 in total.

They would like a:

ECG machine

Bladder scanner

Mobile Hoist

Taller table for the staff room

Storage cabinet to put their bags in and a coat stand for the staff room

The rest of the items are for the quiet room and day room:

Coffee table

Games

Magazines, puzzle books, pencils pens etc and colouring books

Leather cushions

L leather sofa

Leather bean bags

Sensory items

Leather recliner chair

Photos in frames for the Wall
