Dave and I are asking guests who would like to give us a wedding present to, instead, give a donation to The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation.

The foundation is a baby loss charity and close to our hearts, having lost three babies, two in 2025.

Baby loss, and then navigating complex fertility issues, are by far the hardest experiences I've ever gone through, and it would have been a lot harder, and taken a lot longer to get answers, without The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation.

Baby loss is a terrifying and traumatic experience. It can also make you feel incredibly lonely, and there's virtually no support given to you by the NHS when you experience it. You find yourself a member of a 'gang' you never wanted to be a part of, but with it comes a community, if you have a way of being connected to it.

The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation fills gaps left by the NHS and connects people who've experienced baby loss. All of its services are free, and it offers drop-in virtual support groups, webinars with fertility experts, Facebook support groups, a podcast with experts and those who've experienced baby loss and more.

Thanks to the foundation, I learned what tests to get and which consultants I should see. Thankfully, we now have answers and a plan that will hopefully result in our much longed-for family.
