This summer I am cycling 1,000km across Europe, from Prague to Krakow, to raise money and deliver equipment for local hospices in Poland.

The Alina Foundation is a grass-roots charity that provides essential medical equipment and supplies so that terminally ill patients can receive care at home with their families, or in a local hospice.

My friend, who is also an NHS doctor and crew mate at my rowing club, founded this charity alongside her family. It’s amazing to see the work they have done over the years and that, as a small charity, all donations go directly to the hospices and make such a difference.

I am covering the costs of the ride, and the Foundation's trustees cover all admin expenses, so your donation is used entirely to support patients and families. Thank you for your support!
