Join the MND Association as we take on the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026! You’ll be helping to bring us a step closer to a world free from motor neurone disease (MND).

Story

2026 began with news that shattered our family’s world: my amazing sister was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease.

So I’m doing something I truly hate… running — all to raise money to help fight this devastating, thieving disease. Some people love running; I definitely don’t, which makes this my personal challenge in support of a cause that means everything to us.

Any donation, no matter the size, would be hugely appreciated and will help make a real difference. Thank you ❤️

Today, six people will be told they have MND. By sponsoring me and making a donation to the Motor Neurone Disease Association you will change the lives of people affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

JustGiving will send your donation directly to the MND Association.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure – your details are safe, they’ll never sell them or send unwanted emails.

£40 could buy an adapted cutlery set so a person can feed themselves

£75 could inspire a rising research star to devote their career to MND

£100 could provide a voice amplifier for someone to read to their children

Every penny you donate matters.
