25 years ago my twin baby girls were born asleep xx

Today there are still parents devastated by the loss of their babies just before, at or just after birth. The loss is incomparable and never leaves you, you have tiny footprint holes in your heart for a lifetime.

In what would have been for my girls Hannah & Sophie their 25th year I pledged to raise money in their memory to help others xx

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
