Together with our son, Will, and four of my university friends, I am hiking the Grand Canyon - starting at the top of the South Rim, hiking down to the Colorado River and then back up to the North Rim. The challenge involves navigating 24 miles of hiking trails...all the way down and all the way back up! The Grand Canyon is more than a mile deep at this point. I'm excited and nervous. it will be a physical challenge - hot during the day and cold at night - and it's a long hike over tough terrain and we are camping for two nights, so we have to carry everything we need in and back out again. Please sponsor me to encourage me put one foot in front of the other and climb back to the top!
