I am very proud to be running the TCS London Marathon in April 2024 to raise donations for the RNLI.

My family have worked on the sea all of their lives and have needed to call upon the life saving services of the RNLI on more than one occasion in the past.

For the past 15 years I have also worked in the Maritime industry working with people who risk their lives at sea on a daily basis and who rely on the RNLI to be there should they ever need to call on them.

I have very personal reasons for choosing this charity but it is a charity that we could all need the services of one day, even if we don’t go out to sea on vessels, we are very lucky to live next to the coast and have beautiful beaches to enjoy!

As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe. RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They are the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
