We all know someone who is affected by Alzheimer's. In my case two people I am close to are seeing this awful disease affect their family.

I haven't seen many people raising money for Alzheimer's so I decided to do something to raise money myself for this great cause.

People who know me, will know that I love a challenge and I am forever pushing myself however, the thought of abseiling 100 metre down the side of Portsmouth’s iconic landmark, Spinnaker Tower absolutely terrifies me!

My children ask me why I'm doing it, if it scares me? My answer is that although I will more than likely scream all the way down (which the Go-pro camera attached to my head will catch) I would love to raise as much as I can for Alzheimer's Society!
