Story
I am incredibly honoured to share that, thanks to my running club – Run with Purpose (RWP) – I have been given the opportunity, along with 19 other club members, to take part in the London Marathon 2026. This is a fantastic chance for us not only to challenge ourselves, but also to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
As a group, we will be running to raise money for the Positive Youth Foundation, a remarkable charity based in Coventry that has been supporting young people aged 8 to 25 since 1997. Their work focuses on raising aspirations and improving life chances for young people who are facing challenging circumstances. The foundation’s commitment to empowering youth and giving them the support they need to thrive is truly inspiring, and we are proud to support them on this journey.
For me, this marathon will hold a very special and emotional significance. I will be running in memory of my twin brother, Louis, who we lost to suicide almost eight years ago. The race takes place on what would have been our birthday, making this experience even more poignant and meaningful.
Any donations, no matter how large or small, would be greatly appreciated. Your support will not only help a wonderful charity continue its vital work, but will also mean a great deal to me personally as I run in memory of Louis.
