Story
I’m running from Yetholm to Byrness on 20th March. The first time I’ve attempted anything near a marathon. And I’m over 50. So, it might be a slow one.
I love Down’s Syndrome Scotland - as a charity it is a brilliant organisation that supports the community that is Down’s syndrome. This is a community that should be emulated not isolated, as it often is.
The vision of Down’s Syndrome Scotland is that society fully accepts and includes people with Ds. It support families and people with Ds to reach their fullest potential by providing a range of services, influencing public policy and by changing attitudes. It urgently needs funding to help families who are struggling right now.
