Snow Windows for Christmas

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

This year, we lost a friend to a GBM4 brain tumour, one of the most aggressive types of cancer. His passing has left a deep impact on those of us who knew him, inspiring us to help others facing this disease. He leaves behind a wonderful family, and they mean a great deal to us. We want to honour his memory by supporting this vital cause. Seeing the dedicated efforts of another member of our community to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity also inspired me to contribute to this vital cause as well.

As some of you may have noticed, I love creating festive window displays. This year, I’m collaborating with my employer, Ampthill Fireplaces, to bring these displays to even more local businesses. Ampthill Fireplaces, a family-run business in the heart of our community, has been incredibly supportive of my work and this cause. Together, we’re hoping to spread festive cheer across Ampthill while raising awareness and funds for an issue that affects so many.

The statistics around brain tumours are sobering: Research into brain tumours receives less than 3% of all cancer funding, yet they’re the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children and adults under 40. By supporting the Brain Tumour Charity, we can help fund the research that’s so urgently needed to improve treatments and, ultimately, find a cure.

In our friend’s memory, and with the support of Ampthill Fireplaces, I invite you to join us in making a difference. Every donation, large or small, brings us one step closer to hope for families affected by this disease.

Let’s come together as a community to celebrate not only our Christmas but also the kindness, resilience, and hope that makes Ampthill special. Thank you for supporting this cause and for helping us honour a friend’s legacy.
