Story
I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Alzheimer’s Society — and for someone very close to my heart.
Dementia has touched my life in a deeply personal way, and I’ve seen how devastating it can be — not just for the person living with it, but for their family and loved ones too. That’s why I’ve decided to take on this challenge: 13.1 miles through the streets of London, in honour of a loved one and for everyone affected by this cruel condition.
Alzheimer’s Society is doing incredible work — offering support, funding vital research, and fighting to make sure no one faces dementia alone.
This run is my small way of fighting back. If you can, please support me on this journey. Every step I take is powered by love, memories, and hope for a better future.
Thank you so much — it truly means the world.
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
