I'm Doing Stand Up Comedy (No Joke)

Kirsty Purnell is raising money for The Comedy Trust
Created via charity sign up service.

Story

I will be taking the stage in November to perform a live set at the Blackstock Comedy Club.

No, this isn't a mid-life crisis (well, maybe a bit). I’m taking part in The Comedy Trust fundraiser, Stand Up for Liverpool. And I need you to chip in to support this awesome charity so my terror/potential humiliation is worthwhile.

Over the course of a month, I’ll be learning stand-up from comedian Sam Avery, before trying out my routine in front of lots of (hopefully) nice people.

Why should I sponsor you?

Well, you know when you’re having an utterly awful day and someone does something to make you laugh? And suddenly, things feel a bit less heavy?

That’s what The Comedy Trust is all about. They take the benefits of humour into schools, community settings and organisations supporting people who may be experiencing disadvantage, isolation or other barriers to opportunity.

All the coin raised here will go directly to support the community programme across Liverpool City Region.

Go on. Chuck a couple of quid in.
