Story
A number of months ago we were told that our Dad (GG to the grandchildren) has Logopenic Progressive Aphasia (LPA). This is a rare form of dementia and was very unexpected for us as a family.
As time goes on, the grandchildren are seeing a change in their GG. They have asked to do something to raise money for charity.
We came up with a few suggestions and the grandchildren decided they would like to do a swimming challenge, something they have all enjoyed doing with their GG over the years.
To that end, on Sun 25 Jan 26 they will be taking part in a Swimathon at our local gym and spa. Isabel (14), Lilly (13), Logan (10), Max (10), Harry (9) and Grace (6) will split 200 lengths between them to raise money for dementia.
Any donations are hugely appreciated, this is an amazing charity who will likely be called upon at some point to support our family.
Much love The McColls & The Robertsons xx
