Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For the past few years, I have had the joy of raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland alongside my beloved dogs by participating in the My MS Woof Dog Walking Challenge. However, this year marks a new chapter as my furry companions, now at 13 years old, have retired from that intense challenge.
This year, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and flying solo—quite literally! On May 10th, 2026, I will be abseiling down the Port of Leith Distillery, the tallest distillery in the world. This thrilling adventure is not just about conquering heights; it’s about raising vital funds needed by the MS Society to continue their incredible work in tackling Multiple Sclerosis.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by MS. Please consider donating towards my target of £500 to help fuel this important cause. Every contribution counts and brings us one step closer to a world where MS is no longer a barrier to living life fully.
£50 - is enough to operate a high-powered microscope for an hour to study cells and tissue affected by MS at the necessary resolution.
£100 - is enough to process 4 blood samples and extract information about genes and the immune system that is vital when testing out new treatments.
£250 - is enough to run an MRI scanner for an hour and provide the detailed images of the brain crucial for understanding MS progression.
