Sarcoidosis is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. We work to change that. Our 4 goals; information, support, awareness and research. We receive no government money and are 100% reliant on your generosity. Any donation makes a huge difference.

Story

I lost my brother Craig to sarcoidosis the day after his 44th birthday in December 2023 after being diagnosed in 2016. Craig was 1 of the less than 5% or people where sarcoidosis becomes chronic destroying all the healthy cells and turning them brittle so that they no longer have the ability to receive oxygen. Then his heart began to fail from trying so hard.

Craig is an amazing brother, dad, husband, son and friend. He will never be forgotten. I know he would want us to keep raising awareness for everyone fighting this disease.

Sarcoidosis is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure.

None of their work is possible without donations and they are 100% reliant on your generosity. Any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference to their ability to help others with this awful rare disease.

There’s many people that run 10k for fun, but as someone who has never been a runner this is proving to be a challenge!

I’m hoping to keep raising awareness and take on lots of challenges along the way with family and friends. Maybe the 3 peaks next year, who knows!

Thank you for reading,

Kirsty
