I wanted to take a moment to share with you a cause that is very close to my heart. I am currently fundraising for Coeliac UK, an incredible charity that supports individuals living with coeliac disease.

As some of you may know, I have decided to challenge myself and participate in the Edinburgh Marathon 2024. This event holds great significance for me as it not only allows me to push my physical limits but also allows me to raise awareness and funds for a cause that truly matters.

Coeliac disease affects millions of people worldwide, making it difficult for them to consume gluten without experiencing severe health issues. The impact of this condition goes beyond just dietary restrictions; it can affect one's quality of life and overall well-being.

Half of my family suffers from coeliac disease and this can be incredibly challenging and restrictive at times. Particularly in the past, the options for individuals with coeliac disease were incredibly limited therefore eating out and doing the weekly food shop was no easy task. We would often bring our own pasta to restaurants or spend time waiting for prescription bread from the pharmacy as this was not available in the shop! Things are changing and the conditions of individuals with coeliac disease are improving but by no means are perfect which is why I need your support today.

I am reaching out to you, seeking your support in helping me reach my fundraising target of £300. Your generous contribution will go directly towards providing vital resources, support services, and research initiatives that will make a real difference in the lives of those affected by coeliac disease.
