Story
To commemorate losing Dad 10 years ago, I will be running 81 miles from my house in Nunhead, south east London to his old house in Walton-on-Naze in Essex.
The journey will be split over two days with an overnight stay after 50-ish miles towards Colchester. I’ll be fundraising for Evelina Children’s hospital in London who care for my eldest daughter Ali.
Although the distance is actually less than 75 miles, I’ll be adding on a few scenic miles as a nod to Dad's 81st birthday earlier this year.
(P.S - He'd be turning in his grave about this challenge, all the more reason to do this. "Why can't you just have a wine and do a Cheers for me?" 🤣)

About the Evelina:
