KiSS Welsh 3000's · 1 June 2023

KISS works in Uganda to support vulnerable children, their families and their communities. It does this by providing funding for education; medical treatment; families that care for orphaned children or are in difficult circumstances; support for young mothers and social outreach projects.

Story

WE DID IT - there is still time to sponsor so if you can that would be fantastic and thank you so much to all who have supported us.

A bunch of us, (mostly) middle aged, are planning to complete the Welsh 3000s Challenge over 3 days. Yes there are some mad (younger) people who do it in 24 hours but the call of evening refreshments is too strong - even so it is still a challenge! The walk is also known as "The 14 Peaks" (although there are officially 15 peaks, or possibly 16).

With Covid etc, fundraising has dropped significantly for KiSS, directly impacting the good work of enabling children in Uganda to get education which is the passport to a better life for them and their families.

We are also acutely aware of the difficulties many people in the UK are currently experiencing so we are very grateful for anything you can afford. Every penny will go to changing the life of a child in Uganda.

Thank you so much - the Walk 4 KiSS team (W4K)
