As many of you know, our gorgeous daughter Florence suffered life changing injuries at birth and now faces each day with severe cerebral palsy.

Before Florence started school, she was lucky enough to find Springboard, a most amazing charity that supports children (aged 0 – 5) with special needs, and their families, in North Wiltshire. The support and opportunity provided by Springboard helped Florence to find a level of independence that she wouldn’t have had otherwise.

Springboard doesn’t charge for attendance and places are offered based on need rather than ability to pay. This means that every year, Springboard needs to raise £130,000 to remain operational.

On 15 October 2023, I’m going to be undertaking (running, walking, limping) the Bath Half Marathon to fundraise for Springboard. For those who know me, my finest running days were back in the late 1990s, so this is going to be quite a challenge indeed.

Please give what you can, and give generously, to help other children in North Wiltshire, and their families, have the same support that Florence did.
