Story
This year, I'm taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon in support of Sport in Mind, an incredible charity that uses sport and physical activity to help improve the lives of people struggling with mental health challenges.
I started running a few years ago, and it vastly improved my mental health. Last year, I began my graduate program for a Master's degree in Counseling to help individuals overcome their struggles. I believe we have the ability to overcome battles and it starts with movement. Running is a huge outlet for me, so combining that with raising awareness and funds for mental health feels incredibly meaningful. Sport in Mind does amazing work in communities across the UK, and I’m proud to be part of their team.
Every mile I run is for those fighting silent battles—and every donation helps bring hope, support, and opportunity to someone who truly needs it. 🩵
