The Kit Wilson Trust for Animal Welfare is excited to announce our 2025 Christmas Food Appeal. As we celebrate our 50th year of rescuing and rehoming animals, we have already found loving homes for 120 cats and 55 dogs in 2025, but many more are still waiting for their forever families.

Winter is a challenging time for us, as it brings increased costs for food, extra bedding, and warmth for the animals in our care. With the ongoing rise in the cost of living, our Food Appeal has never been more crucial. Every donation helps us provide essential support to the many animals at the Centre who rely on us.

Each animal is important to us, and we believe that every dog and cat at the Rescue Centre deserves a home to call their own. Some have been waiting a long time for that special person to come along and open their heart and home. With your generous donations, we will do everything possible to make their Christmas special.

While we have Food Appeal boxes at various host sites, we understand that not everyone can access them. If you prefer to make a monetary donation instead, we would be incredibly grateful. In addition to dogs and cats, our Centre cares for rabbits, ponies, goats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, a pig, as well as rodents and wildlife.
