Story
Hi everyone,
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
A team of BlackRock runners (Edd, Ollie, Cam, Rees, James, David, Rohan & Henry) will be running the London marathon this year to fundraise for Kith & Kids – a Tottenham based charity that supports families who have a son or daughter with autism or a learning disability (many also have a physical or sensory disability) to overcome their social isolation.
In a great plot twist, two runners have injuries so will be running in a seriously embarrassing (and challenging) fancy dress which should help motivate donations.
Kith & Kids is a charity that myself and many others from BlackRock have supported for many years – we have been involved in several activities but my personal highlight has been football coaching the members and then helping them prepare for the bi-annual tournaments.
This fund raising is so important to the sustainability of the charity – more details of their purpose and work here - Home | Kith & Kids | services for people with a learning disability or autism (clara.net)
Any donations would be very very gratefully received!!
Thank you all again for taking the time to read this and for all of your support.
Edd, Ollie, Cam, Rees, James, David, Rohan & Henry
