This is a page for our incredible CW+ Royal Parks Half Marathon Team 2024. I am working in partnership to raise funds for CW+, the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

I am an Emergency Staff Nurse in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and I started working in this department at the very start of pandemic. Looking back, it was probably the most challenging aspect of my 15 years of nursing experience.This devastating event affected not just the lives of many people but also the heroes who worked day and night to save lives as front liners. The pandemic greatly affected the mental health and well-being of many healthcare workers. A lot of them has left the profession but a lot of us stayed and continues to endure it despite the difficulties we faced.

Even after COVID, as frontlines we are still here, our journey of saving lives didn't end with the pandemic. We have continued our perseverance to be able to provide the best care to patients. Hence, my main purpose of running my first ever half marathon is to raise awareness on the importance of well-being and mental health of all the healthcare workers and to be able to raise money so we can create a variety of initiatives in the Emergency Department such as prevention of burnout, managing stress and empowerment of staff. OUR WELL-BEING AND MENTAL HEALTH MATTER TOO!
