So, when some of the Kirton Lindsey Old Timer's felt that 2024 was a VERY LONG WAY AWAY, we thought it would be a "great" idea to enter into a 10k adventure race at Normanby Hall.

At the same time, it was suggested that as we were going to make total idiots of ourselves, we could raise some money for a good cause along the way.

Kirton Lindsey really needs the most up to date ZOLL AED3 BLS defibrillators to help make our community safer, as well as supporting LIVES volunteers in our area to continue the critical, lifesaving work that people have come to expect

Having also “encouraged” a few of our family members and friends to join us, we registered as KLOTS.

Some of the people taking part in the Adventure Race have never run for more than the bus and that's going back some years.

a) can't back out

and

b) we get a much needed super dooper defibrillator for our town, that one day, may save the life of someone in our community.
