KNEAD Bakery and Jesse Smith's Butchers fundraiser for The Churn Project

KNEAD Bakery and Jesse Smith Butchers is raising money for The Churn Project
Founded in 2001, The Churn Project is a community hub dedicated to reducing loneliness, isolation and supporting the wellbeing of local residents in the Cirencester area. We are right at the heart of the community and are often the only place people feel they can turn to for support and help.

Story

We’re delighted to announce that The Churn Project has been chosen as our official charity partner for 2026 — and it wasn’t chosen by chance.

In our November charity survey, The Churn Project received the highest number of votes across the company, making it the clear winner and the charity that our teams most wanted to support in the year ahead.

This is the first time we’ve ever launched a dedicated year-long charity partnership, and it’s especially exciting as 2026 marks The Churn Project’s 25th anniversary.

💛 About Our 2026 Commitment

Starting January 2026, we will begin a year-long programme of fundraising, volunteering, community support, and monthly initiatives designed to help The Churn Project continue its vital work with vulnerable people, older residents, young parents, and families across Cirencester.

🌟 Why The Churn Project?

The Churn Project supports more than 1,800 local people every year, offering companionship, practical help, crisis support, and community connection.

By choosing them as our charity partner, we have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of people living just around the corner from our sites.

Thank you in advance for your energy, generosity, and community spirit.

Together, we can make 2026 a year of genuine impact for people who need it most.
