On 27 April 2025, Tim will be taking part in the London Marathon, and then on the 25th May he will be joined by both of his sisters (Lydia & Holly) and brothers-in-law (Andy & Stuart) to run the Great West Run (half marathon), in aid of Hospiscare. For those that don't know we lost our Dad (Mike Knight) to cancer in September last year and really want to push ourselves to our limits and raise money for a great cause in his memory.

Hospiscare is a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their team of nurses were there for Dad (and us), ensuring he was able to remain at home with his family through his final few weeks, and we really want to do something to say thanks for what they did for him.

Dad would also consistently remind me (Tim) that I had never run a Marathon (or a half marathon for that matter) while he had run several so it feels very suitable to be taking on this challenge. The cover photo is actually of Dad after he completed the London Marathon in 1988...so I will be aiming to recreate this 37 years later!!
