Kniv & Sears' fundraiser for Refuge

Jack Knivett is raising money for Refuge
In memory of Rob Hole

Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro · 27 January 2026

Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

Our mate Rob sadly passed away in October 2023, age 42, after a lifelong battle with various conditions. In his honour, we are climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro at the end of Jan to try and raise money for his chosen charity, Refuge.

One in four women will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lifetime and on average one woman is killed every 5 days in England and Wales by a current or former partner. Refuge is the largest single provider of specialist services to survivors of domestic abuse.
