Knot Waste's Fundraiser for RSPCA

Knot Waste is raising money for RSPCA

Nature Inspired Embroidery Sale

Across England and Wales, we're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the UK's largest animal welfare charity. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many animals each year and campaign and educate to prevent animal cruelty. The RSPCA is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

Story

We believe that a world that’s better for animals is better for us all. Litter pollutes the environment and animals causing long-lasting damage affecting our ecosystem.

For the past 10 years the RSPCA has partnered with Keep Britain Tidy facilitating litter picking events which serve as a platform for communities to come together, clean up litter, and drive positive change on land and in water. For over 200 years the RSPCA has been here to rescue animals, change laws, industries, attitudes and behaviour.

Our KnotWasteShop on ETSY creates modern eco-conscious embroidery inspired by city life, with 10% from the sale of each product being donated to the RSPCA via this Just Giving page.

Our site www.knot-waste.com explores creative ways to reconnect with nature in urban spaces. There you can experience embroidery as Nature Connection by downloading a free nature-inspired embroidery pattern and learning simple stitches to relax, reconnect with nature, and start embroidery as a mindful hobby. You can decide if it's for you before purchasing from the KnotWasteShop on ETSY and donating to the RSPCA.

Living in urban environments is great but at the same time modern lifestyles create disconnection, excessive screen time, and climbing stress levels. Nature connection is something that everybody can benefit from. It can be accessible, low-cost, and always deeply human.

You don’t need to dramatically head to the hills for a weekend for it to have an impact. Small moments of attention and connection can gradually support calmer minds, healthier routines, and greater wellbeing.
