We are a group of Cousins taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2024 to raise money for The Pauline Knowles Scholarship Fund at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
An alumna of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Pauline Knowles established herself as one of the pre-eminent Scottish stage actors of her generation in a dazzling career which spanned thirty years.
Not only was Pauline a talented actress, but our much loved Aunt. Sadly she passed away suddenly in October 2018 at the age of 50. She is much missed by all our family and her friends and The Scholarship is a fitting tribute to her talent and dedication to theatre.
The aim of the scholarship is to support a Scottish or Scotland-based BA Acting student throughout their training and help relieve the burden of the expenses of a Higher Education degree. A much needed support especially in current times.
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is committed to securing a future for the performing arts in Scotland and beyond by nurturing the next generation of exceptional creative artists. Any donations will be used to support the next generation of talent.
