🥊 KO Cancer Challenge – Fighting Head & Neck Cancer with Dan
Story:
Cancer thought it could step into the ring with me… but I’ve still got fight left in me.
I’m Dan. In February 2024, I was diagnosed with a head and neck cancer. Since then, I’ve been through radiotherapy, combined chemo-radiotherapy, and 6 surgeries. It’s been the toughest fight of my life — but thanks to the incredible care and support from the teams at SATH and the Lingden Davies Centre in Shrewsbury, I’ve been able to keep getting back up after every round.
Now it’s my turn to fight back. That’s why we’ve launched the KO Cancer Challenge – to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Every pound raised will help fund vital research and clinical trials, developing better treatments and giving more people with head and neck cancers, and all cancers, the chance to live longer, better lives.
Here’s how the challenge works:
1️⃣ Record your best KO punch 👊
2️⃣ Donate £5 to Cancer Research UK via this page
3️⃣ Nominate 3 friends to take on the challenge
Head and neck cancers are often underfunded and overlooked, but they affect thousands of people every year. By supporting this challenge, you’ll be helping Cancer Research UK fund groundbreaking trials and research that can change the outcome for patients today, and for generations to come.
Every punch, every post, and every pound brings us closer to knocking cancer out cold.
Thank you for standing in my corner. 💪
