Koby Prescott to Take on Everest Base Camp Challenge Following Brother Taylor’s Marathon Heroics

Koby Prescott is set to take on the demanding PSD Vehicle Rentals Everest Base Camp Challenge, continuing the remarkable fundraising efforts of the Prescott family.

Fresh from his brother Taylor Prescott’s inspirational performance in the Critical Business Solutions London Marathon, Koby will now step up to the challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp in aid of vital charitable causes.

This will not be Koby’s first encounter with the iconic trek, having successfully completed the Everest Base Camp challenge back in 2022. However, this latest journey carries even greater significance as he looks to build on the family’s ongoing commitment to charitable fundraising.

Koby will be joined by a team of 11 other participants, including former St Helens forward and Sky Sports presenter Kyle Amor, as they take on one of the world’s most renowned endurance challenges.

Speaking ahead of the challenge, Koby said:

*“In 2022 it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was challenging but so rewarding. I wanted to be part of the team when it was first announced but had to wait for permission from my University. Thankfully I have now got the green light and we have a fantastic team assembled.

It is an iconic challenge and one I am really looking forward to, and to help raise vital funds for those less fortunate than ourselves.”*

The efforts of both Koby and Taylor stand as a powerful testament to the legacy of their late father, Steve Prescott MBE. Their continued dedication reflects a deep commitment to raising vital funds and awareness for The Christie and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund (Rugby League Cares), causes that remain close to the family’s heart.

We are taking part in this years epic SPF Everest Base Camp adventure, the SPF have tackled Everest Base Camp four times in the last ten years and everyone has had a trip of a lifetime.
