Story
Bemorefab Children's Cancer Charity is an incredible Corby-based organisation dedicated to supporting children, families and schools across the UK through the challenges of childhood cancer. They provide tuition for children that are absent from school due to treatment and work alongside schools to ensure that the children are getting the best support academically as well as socially and emotionally.
Bemorefab Children's Cancer Charity was born from a journey no family ever expects to take. On Friday 13 May 2022, Florence was diagnosed with leukaemia. Her prognosis was poor, and chemotherapy wasn't working. Her parents were told her only chance might be treatment abroad, but against all odds, Florrie received a bone marrow transplant in the UK. Though it led to complications and life-changing lung damage, what matters most is that she's still here and still smiling.
Florrie has shown the world that hospital doesn't have to be scary. Through her TikTok videos, she's inspired hundreds of thousands with her unstoppable spirit. In 2024, she received a Pride of Britain Award – proof of the hope and light she continues to bring.
