Milly's Smiles provides a Holdall Bag, known as a Milly Bag for all children who have been newly diagnosed with a cancer related illness, and admitted into hospital. The bag contains lots of essential and luxury items that will help them through the first frightening weeks of their journey.

Story

Theodore was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, stemming from a brain tumor at the age of 4. He underwent an 8 hour surgery (craniotomy) and fifteen rounds of chemo!! This year marks his last year of check ups and will hopefully get to ring the bell in 2024, meaning he is cancer free 🔔

To mark the occasion and to raise vital funds for a charity close to our hearts, Theodore, along with my support is going to complete the Tadpole round, which is a Swim Run route - 10 km of running with 800m ascent and 700m of swimming across Crummock & Buttermere.

@millyssmiles is a charity that we will be hoping to raise as much money as possible for - a charity set up to rember the life of Amelia Walmsley who sadly lost her battle with leukemia. They supply bags to families of poorly children staying in hospital, filled with essential items to make your stay as comfortable as possible, which for us was a good send, being on a ward 3 hours from home!
