A group of incredible women from across the East Midlands have come together to form the first ever Women’s Business Board. These women are passionate about raising funds for life saving and life changing research at British Heart Foundation, for every heart, helping families have more time together.

Each year, over 35,000 women in the UK are admitted to hospital following a heart attack — that’s roughly four every hour. Despite common misconceptions, coronary heart disease is not just a man's disease. In fact, it kills more than twice as many women as breast cancer annually in the UK. The Women's Business Board is committed to amplifying awareness and challenging outdated assumptions.

This November, staff at KPMG have committed to learning lifesaving CPR. 1 in 5 people will witness a cardiac arrest during their lifetime so it's important everyone is prepared. The training is free but your contribution to our research is appreciated.
