Dear fellow parents:

Welcome to the KPA's fundraising campaign page for our beloved school's playground refurbishment project.

The school is embarking on an ambitious, multi-year redevelopment of its outdoor space, the full cost of which will extend into the 100s of thousands of pounds.

We are fortunate to have the opportunity to embolden the vision and accelerate its delivery. We are hoping to raise GBP 50,000 (or more!) through the end of the 2022/2023 school year to go towards Phase 1 of this project. While most of the KPA's fundraising activity this year is going towards this initiative and accounts for the first £20,000 raised [UPDATE: £45,000!], your individual contributions are critical to meeting this target.

The plans are not yet final, but above you will see some initial concept drawings and photos to give you a flavour of the school's ambition (click on the gallery to see more images). We will continue to share more on the plans as they become more concrete. Phase 1 is likely to focus on the sports playing courts and the school is hoping to start work over the summer break, circumstances permitting.

PPS. Please note that all funds raised via this page are directly in the name of the GDST, restricted for Ken Prep's Outdoor Development Project. This allows us to leverage the infrastructure of a large charity with, among other things, GiftAid registration.
