A team of Phoenix Contact employees, known as the “Phoenix Superchargers,” will be taking part in the Krazy Races at Telford Town Park on Sunday 12th July to raise funds for Severn Hospice.

They are currently busy designing and building their race cart, and we’ll be sharing regular updates as the project progresses—from the initial build stages through to testing ahead of the big day.

Severn Hospice supports families from the moment they are referred, providing care for as long as it is needed. This support is available every day to people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.

While their care is always free for those who need it, it comes at a significant cost—and they rely on continued support to make it possible. For every £1 donated, 84p goes directly towards patient care, with the remaining 16p helping to generate an additional £1.

Thanks to generous donations, the hospice was able to support 3,000 local families last year when it mattered most.
