Story

On Saturday 13th April 2024, a team of 9 volunteers have taken on the Kreston Reeves Foundation challenge. (Mike Dyer, Sarah Ediss, Christopher Gregory, Lucy Hammond, Colin Laidlaw, Caitlin Powell, Jeff Rolle, Naomi Varty, Tom Wacher).

We will all be attempting the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. This is a circular route of 24 miles taking in the 3 peaks in the Yorkshire Dale of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres). We expect it will take around 12 hours, starting at 5:30am to ensure we have enough daylight!

We will be raising money for causes close to our heart. Each year our local offices at Kreston Reeves choose a Charity of the Year that they are passionate about which can benefit from much needed fundraising. We will therefore be raising money for the following charities to get us across the finishing line:

Kent MS Therapy Centre

Carers’ Support East Kent

Air Ambulance Kent, Surrey and Sussex

The Felix Project

Jigsaw South East

Cancerwise

Whoopsadaisy

We would be so grateful if you could sponsor us to do this challenge and your support will really spur us on! Any donation, big or small, will be gratefully received and will make such a difference to these local charities.

Thank you, your kindness and generosity is hugely appreciated.
