The Hull Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Hull NICU) cares for over 500 premature babies every year. Funds raised will help enhance the unit above and beyond what the NHS can achieve alone.

Story

Little Movers Hull West is proud to be taking part in a sponsored dance during our National Charity Week, taking place from 22nd June to 28th June 2026! 💃✨

We will be dancing together with all of our wonderful families in our community classes, and we are so excited to come together, have fun, and raise money for a cause that means so much to us.

This year, we have chosen to support Hull NICU. Although my own personal experience with NICU care was when my eldest daughter was treated in Luton, I know first-hand just how incredible neonatal teams are. The staff work tirelessly day and night, showing outstanding care, compassion, and dedication to every baby and family they support during what can be one of the most challenging times in their lives.

I also have a child in my class whose family received wonderful care from Hull NICU, and hearing their experience has shown me just how amazing the team is and the incredible difference they make to so many local families.

Supporting Hull NICU is our way of saying thank you to all neonatal teams and helping to ensure that babies and their families continue to receive the care, support, and comfort they need.

We cannot wait to dance, make memories, and raise as much money as we can together. Thank you so much to everyone who supports Little Movers Hull West and helps us make a difference. ❤️

Every little step, wiggle, and dance move will help support an amazing cause! 🩷

Hull Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cares for over 500 premature babies, some stay for hours or days, whilst others stay for weeks and months. Hull is one of four Level 3 NICU’s within the Yorkshire and Humber region, caring for babies from 22 weeks gestation offering specialist intensive care for babies locally and across the country

Funds I raise will enhance the unit for the benefit for premature babies and their families by providing those important added extras above and beyond what the NHS can achieve alone. Together we can help make a real difference to parents.

Thank you for your support.
