I’m raising money for Bradbury Fields by taking on a 15,000ft skydive, which is every bit as terrifying as it sounds.

Bradbury Fields is a fantastic local charity supporting blind and partially sighted people across Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton. Their work helps people living with sight loss to regain confidence, maintain independence and access practical support that can make a real difference day to day.

Sight loss is something that can affect any of us. More than 2 million people in the UK are living with sight loss, and one in five of us will experience it in our lifetime. Every six minutes in the UK, someone is told they will lose their sight, with around 105,000 people expected to lose their sight in 2026 alone due to permanent and irreversible conditions.

This is a huge personal challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by people adapting to life with sight loss. Any donation, no matter the size, will help Bradbury Fields continue their vital work and support more people when they need it most.
