On Friday 24th May, I will be joining other swimmers from across the Forest of Dean, & further afield, and diving into Bathurst Pool to raise funds for Great Oaks Hospice.

I'm hoping to swim a mile for the first time, but whatever I can do, I hope you can spare a little towards a great appeal.

Great Oaks has been providing end-of-life care and supporting people living with life-limiting illness, and their carers, families and friends across the Forest of Dean, for almost 25 years. The hospice team touch the lives of around 1200 people each year but each year they need to raise almost one million pounds, so every penny counts!
