Coniston Water - End-to-End

I swim because I love it, I challenge myself because it keeps life interesting and my parent's always pushed me to achieve - something I'm so very grateful of now in my later life.

This time, I'm hoping to raise a bit of cash for some more local charities, the smaller ones who are run by passionate volunteers who make up our wonderful community. These charities are sadly often over-looked in favour of the larger, national charities and it would be nice to honour these unsung heroes, who do so much for so many, but are often in the shadows.

A little like my parents did for me. I was always their number one and it makes me so proud to have grown up surrounded by so much love and hope. I do realise how lucky I am to have had them.

I will always swim in their memory and cherish the time we had together before they had to leave.
