Story
On 26th April 2026 I will be joining #TeamLAS and running the TCS London Marathon.
I decided to pack up my life in Perth, Australia and move across the world to pursue my dreams of working as a paramedic in an iconic city like London.
I've worked for LAS for a little over 2.5 years now and have loved every moment of being here.
We all know life on the front-line is demanding both physically and mentally and it's safe to say I've had my fair share of mental health battles and I'm definitely not alone in saying that. The support from both management and colleagues is the reason I'm still working for LAS 2.5 years on.
The well-being of our staff is something I'm hugely passionate about as without staff there's no one to respond to the needs of Londoners. This is why I'm running the London Marathon for the London Ambulance Charity to raise funds to improve the well-being of staff and volunteers.
It would mean a lot to not only myself and the team behind the London Ambulance Charity but also my fellow colleagues within LAS.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
