The East Communities Y is an amazing resource for our community! It’s where my kids learned to swim and do jujitsu. I recommend it to my patients who need a place to go for low cost services during hard times that including swim safety lessons, free childcare while using the facility and low-cost counseling. Each year, the Y provides nearly $2.5M in financial assistance to help parents stay healthy and steady, give kids safe childcare, and provide families with life-saving swim lessons.

As a member of the East Communities Y Community Action Board, I give back to the Y through service and financial contributions. I have the privilege of joining more than 300 volunteers, staff, Y members, friends and family who also come together to help raise the critical funds needed for the Y to continue to provide critical services to the community.
